Astrocartography — also known as Astro*Carto*Graphy or locational astrology — was developed by the astrologer Jim Lewis in the late 1970s. It maps where each planet in your birth chart falls on the four angular house cusps (Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, and Imum Coeli) at every location on Earth.

The resulting lines show geographic zones where specific planetary energies are emphasized for you personally, based on the exact moment of your birth. These aren't generic horoscopes — they are unique to your birth data and reveal where you may experience heightened creativity, career opportunities, relationship dynamics, or personal transformation.

Astrocartography is used for travel planning, relocation decisions, and self-discovery. Effects are typically felt within 150–250 km (93–155 miles) of a line. It does not predict events, but highlights where you are more likely to experience certain energies and themes.
